So what is 1Life2Live ???

Simply put, it's a section of no-death runs of games on the NES! These are done by not only the admins of the site, but it now also includes videos from the PlayTheNES.com community!

Below you will find a link to the video, the person who did the run, and a few notes from the author. The length of the video is included only so you'll know if you need some popcorn. Remember, these are no-death runs, not speed runs!
Video Information
 Game: Astyanax
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 27:59
Notes: "The game itself isn't too hard, but a no death is kind of hard to pull off. The level called Marshy is the biggest pain, because it's so easy to get knocked into a pit if you don't move forward with ease. Sometimes magic can be magical!"
 Game: Contra
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 18:08
Notes: "I've never tried to do a no death run of Contra, but I thought I'd be able to do it. I tried for a week but kept making dumb mistakes. One morning I finally pulled it off. I tried around 20 different times throughout that week to do it."
 Game: Double Dragon
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 21:11
Notes: "Most of the game is fairly easy to go through, but Machine Gun Willie was not one of those parts! I eventually found the method I used on him with the elbow at the side of the screen. This gave me enough energy to fight the shadow."
 Game: DuckTales
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 17:43
Notes: "This game can be completed easily as a no death run. Honestly, it shouldn't take too long if you decide to attempt it. The biggest thing MIGHT be getting used to the cane physics, but besides that, just knowing what's going to happen next."
 Game: Kabuki: Quantum Fighter
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 31:47
Notes: "Not hard at all. I used to beat this one alot without dying, and it only took me four or five attempts to do it again. I believe the third level was the tough one. Getting some of those jumps down without hitting your head... ugh"
 Game: Karnov
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 20:52
Notes: "Having a shield at some of the bosses certainly helps on this game! Using the wings when prompted can help you out too, like when you first encounter the snake lady boss on level four."
 Game: Ninja Gaiden
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 21:44
Notes: "I think we all know the problem areas in this game (the cliff, the first hall, Jaquio). Learning to fight Jaquio with the sword is a must if you want to one life this game. Those fireballs get crazy if you get out of sync!"
 Game: Power Blade
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 35:52
Notes: "Once you get powered up, you shouldn't have too much trouble. The bosses take a bit of learning, but in the end they turn out to be not so difficult. Getting the power blade suit during the levels really helps to keep some energy too."
 Game: Power Blade II
 Run by: Roth
 Length: 43:08
Notes: "I'd say the best way to get through this game in one life is to make wise use of your suits. Don't waste the energy it takes to use them very often, and collect as many refills for them as you can. Other than that, repetition."
 Game: Silver Surfer
 Run by: WizWar100
 Length: 34:37
Notes: "The game was beaten a long time ago, with me memorizing the hard parts that come and the rest were just simple reflexes. It's not hard, but it is challenging."
