Re: Round 2 - Yellow Planet

Super Mario Bros. 2 vs. Life Force BattleToads vs. Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! SMB2 - I'm not a big fan of shm'ups, and there are ones I like more on the NES (Gun*Nac, Zanac, that sega one i can't remeber the name of but looks really nice). I would always choose to play SMB2 over that. Battletoads...

Re: Round 2 - Crystal Lake

Ninja Gaiden vs. A Nightmare on Elm Street River City Ransom vs. Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse Ninja Gaiden - They both own oww me bum, but I enjoy Gaiden passing it to me on a plate. RCR - Seriously, these are two exellent games. RCR I find more enjoyable to pick up and play. Some might say...

Re: Round 2 - Irata

SMB3 - Go Europe!

Scherenzade or however it is spelt, this is a unique NES game. I do love Probotector but Schehereraberzarade gets my vote. I still have to beat that game.

Re: Round 2 - Metro City

SF10 - I'm not going to anti-vote just for the sake of it.

Little Samson - Now these are some good games. Tough, but Little Samson has given me more replay value.

Festivals!

Summer is upon us (if you're in the northern hemisphere) and that means the music festival season! Will anyone be heading to a festival this summer? I'm going to Donington (Download) in June and can't wait. Headlining the 3 days are AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine and Aerosmith. Lets just hope it do...

Re: NES Games That Could Have Been 3

Murder She Wrote was one of my favourite shows as a kid (I was a strange kid) and I would have definitely had that top of my Christmas list. Nintendo missed out there.

Re: HOLY CRAP

I started with Mario, but soon realised I was missing the point. Fun with the others. Can you make the big jumps though?

Re: Leathcos NES Game of the Month!

Nice! Never played this one beyond the first few minutes you showed. It struck me as similar to Willow, which I liked. This is obviously going to appeal to the "Star Trek geeks" you mentioned, of which I'm not one, but the cutscenes are neat all the same.
